RV Travel Update: Where are we this week?

RV Travel Update: Where are we this week?

Hey friends!

This week Caitlin had three shows in the Raleigh, NC, area. We've been staying at the State Fairgrounds here in Raleigh, and it's been a great stop.

We had a bit of an adventure Thursday night when our truck battery died on us out of nowhere. The battery is only a year old, so this was quite a surprise for us.

We ended up staying at a stranger's house we met at the venue last night. We actually talked to him before discovering our battery was dead, and he spent an hour or so trying to jump the truck before inviting us to his home. We are no longer strangers and are grateful for his kind hospitality.

We're back on the road with a new battery and headed to Littleton, NC, for another show. Tomorrow we head back out to the North Carolina coast to Newport, NC.

Caitlin has three more shows next week in Virginia, and we have family coming to stay with us in Williamsburg.

We posted about the Thousand Trails Cabin Pass in a previous post. We're enjoying the membership, and it's nice that we can get more spacious accommodations and invite family to join us. We will stay in a cabin and store the RV for the week.

We've never been to Williamsburg, VA, so please let us know what you recommend we do there when we visit. Fall is approaching here, but the trees are still bright green. We're enjoying the cooler temps here compared to Florida.

Happy Weekend everyone!
