Check out some of our renovations to our tiny home on wheels. Luckily, we didn’t have to change everything inside. Here’s what we replaced: We have a 2011 finder by Cruiser RV. We loved that the cabinets were white, so it made our RV remodel much more accessible, and we did not have to paint the cabinets.

Window treatment and shades.

New Hardware in the bathroom-Hobby Lobby

Covered the outdated wallpaper with a couple coats of paint.

Table/convertible couch cushions.

Removed the backsplash design from the kitchen.

Here’s our progress and how we did it all on a budget.

We first picked out our paint color and went from there. We ended up going with Whitecliff Beige from Giddeon Paints. The paint and primer cost around $80. Tip-we used Gripper Primer which was highly recommended by fellow RV renovators.

• We prepared the walls and other areas by cleaning, sanding, and taping. We also removed the horrible window treatments in the house. We then began painting which was quite a long process for such a small space.

• We also laid down our kitchen backsplash and faux shiplap before painting. Tip-don’t leave your painter tape on overnight as we did. Take the video off carefully after the last two coats. We had some places where the paint ripped as we removed the tape and had to go back with a fine brush. By the time we got to painting the bathroom, we had realized and removed it 20 mins or so after painting…BIG DIFFERENCE!

• We cleaned up the area with a shop vac and got to my favorite part, decorating!

THIS IS THE FOLD-OUT TABLE BED. WE DON’T EAT A LOT AT THE TABLE SO WE GOT SOME CUSHION COVERS, A FEW THROW BLANKETS, AND PILLOWS TO TRANSFORM OUR TABLE INTO A COZY COUCH.
