We've had our Bodum Coffee Maker since day one of RVing. We have a small electric one-cup machine, but we use our Bodum on boondocking days by heating water on our propane stove and pouring it into the Bodum.

We still have ours from our first year of camping, and it has been a lifesaver. There's no getting around it; bugs most certainly find a way into your campsite or RV. This is also fun for kids who want to make a game out of chasing flies.

Cast iron skillets are an excellent choice for camping due to their durability, versatility, and ability to provide even heat distribution. Their sturdy construction makes them suitable for use over an open flame or directly on hot coals. Additionally, they can be used to cook a wide variety of foods, from breakfast items like eggs and bacon to dinner favorites like stews and stir-fries. The natural non-stick properties of a well-seasoned cast iron skillet also make it easy to clean, which is a big plus when you're out in the wilderness.
