Fisherman’s Cove sits on Little Lake Harris in Tavares, FL. There’s lots to do in the area, including a visit to the famous town of Mount Dora.

Upon buying our first RV, this was our first stop and home for an entire year. The park is older but quiet and very safe. Little Lake Harris is part of the Harris Chain of Lakes and a wonderful area.

They have a large clubhouse, pool, golf course, laundry, boat slips, and two sets of bathrooms with showers.

Tiki West- (Tavares) Daily seafood specials and fresh and huge oysters!

Mary’s Country Kitchen- (Tavares) Do yourself a favor and go here for breakfast. House-made corned beef is incredible.

Wave Sushi- (Mount Dora) The best and freshest sushi around. Very inventive menu. If sushi is not your thing, they have many other yummy options.

Fish Camp Lake Eustis- (Tavares) 

 Fantastic weekly specials to check out on their Facebook. Thursday nights, $1 martinis

Kalua Beach Bar- (Tavares) You can dock your boat here and hear live music on the weekends. They have food and a full bar, but we usually skip eating here.

Shopping

Lakesquare Mall- (Leesburg) food court, bowling, and a new AMC movie theater.

Publix- (Tavares) I Love me some Publix, and this one is located just minutes away from the Park.

Ace Hardware- (Tavares) Just minutes away from the park. Get your firewood, propane, and whatever you need for your rig.

Outdoor Stuff

Aside from fishing steps away from your campsite, there are a few parks nearby and lots of other Lakes in the area to explore.

Less than a mile away is where you can fish and enjoy a smaller trail.
